USA vs. Chinese Taipei

The national team slaughtered Chinese Taipei in a 10-0 victory this Sunday at the Home Depot Center. Abby Wambach recorded a hat trick and three assists, while Carli Lloyd, Leslie Osborne and Megan Rapinoe all got their first international goals. Danesha Adams also picked up her first cap and assist with the full national team.

It was definitely a day for the younger players, which was appropriate, as the match put a cap on the Women's Nike Friendlies. I was at the game, and while it wasn't one of the best games I've seen, it was a lot of fun. Everyone loves to see goals and the atmosphere was fantastic. The stadium was alive with hundreds of girls, decked out in their club jerseys, cheering for the sport and players their love.
